INTRODUCTION FROM THE MANAGING DIRECTOR

Slavery and human trafficking remains a hidden blight on our global society. We all have a responsibility to be alert to the risks, however small, in our business and in the wider supply chain. Our employees are alert to the risks and are expected to report their concerns, and management are expected to act upon them.

ORGANISATION’S STRUCTURE

Hanover designs and manufactures passenger information systems for the public transport industry. Satisfied customers in over 80 countries worldwide use a range of Hanover products, attracted by the high levels of quality, reliability and customer service. The security afforded by 30 years’ experience, financial independence and a continuous product development program is further assurance of the company’s dependability.

The Company has an annual turnover of approximately £60 million.

OUR BUSINESS

Our business is organised into a number of worldwide based business units. As well as in the United Kingdom we have companies based in France, Spain, Germany, Italy and Australia. These companies have responsibility for selling our products within their own country. We also have a manufacturing plant based in the USA.

OUR SUPPLY CHAINS

Our supply chains include the sourcing of raw materials principally related to the manufacture of electronic passenger information systems. Our supply chains include a network of third-party entities providing us with products to assist in the production and distribution of our product to the end customer.

OUR POLICIES ON SLAVERY AND HUMAN TRAFFICKING

We are committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in our supply chains or in any part of our business. Our Anti-Slavery Policy reflects our commitment to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships and to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure slavery and human trafficking is not taking place anywhere in our supply chains.

To ensure a high level of understanding of the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking in our supply chains and our business, we provide briefings to our Directors and employees.
