The launch of Hanover Far East Ltd reinforces the company’s global reputation for high technology passenger information systems in the public transport sector.
Hanover, which has operated in the Far East market since 1999, is launching the new venture in K11 ATELIER 11 SKIES, Hong Kong International Airport and right beside Hong Kong Zhuhai Macao Bridge.
From there it will operate a sales, service support and parts warehousing operation, which will serve the market in Hong Kong, China and the wider Far East.
Andy Williams, Sales Director of Hanover said: “We have been active in the Hong Kong market for nearly 25 years and are now well established as the leading destination display supplier in the market. During this time, we have also seen increasing levels of business with the OEMs in the region, including many of the major Chinese bus builders. More than 6,000 buses featuring Hanover technology are running day and night in Hong Kong. The displays have proven their ability to perform reliably in a challenging environment, operating in high temperatures and humidity, with long service hours. The systems are exceptionally durable and our extended warranties are testament to the longevity of our products.”
Specialising in LED display technology, audio-visual passenger information, automatic vehicle positioning, geo-localisation and fleet management, Hanover
